Are we too good to go down
Anyone who still thinks we are too good to go down has got their head stuck up their rear end.

muskie, i think we have good enough players to manage a top 10. But with Moyes we might just go down

Can't score, can't defend, can't pass the ball, zero creativity.

Only 2 goals in 7 games.

We are going down.

Moyes' post match interviews stink of his time at Sunderland. His present body language and attitude are remarkably similar.
I have a horrible feeling we are in deep shit if this problem lasts much longer..

Calling Mr Sullivan...

Have to get 6 points from the next 3 games or we're gone.

Agreed. I believe the board should give him an ultimatum that he needs to win at least two of the next three winnable league games else he will be shown the door.

Hopefully this Kretinsky fella is more ruthless than Sullivan and Gold and puts pressure on that failure cannot be tolerated for any sustained period of time.

As I said after the Brighton game, unless something changes THAT is a relegation team. Everyone's worked out how to play us.
Either tactics or personell needs to change. Fast.

West Ham best priced 13/1 to be relegated.

You have to have something to survive in the Premier League. Sheer determination or a top quality team that performs to its expectations. I'm struggling to say we have either of those.

As I said after the Brighton game.

THAT is a relegation team.

He's played the same core players, with the same tactics for 2 years. We have been truly rumbled.

Unless he changes personell, OR tactics OR himself. We're going down

Yes if we appoint Pocchetino or Tomas Frank

Re: Are we too good to go down
Surely we can't be relegated twice, while being to good to go down (on paper, anyway)?

From the above, you can see I'm tempted to join in the panicking, but I'll hold my horses for a bit.

No.

In reality teams that are too good to go down actually stay up.

The real question is will we be bad enough over this season to remain in the bottom three.

Re: Are we too good to go down
As someone already pointed out, if your too good to go down, you won't.

Do I think it is a possibility we could get relegated? YES

Am I concerned by the start? YES

Do I think it will happen? NO

Moyes's Everton were slow starters nearly every season , was shocked we started so quickly last year , we may go the other way this year and be far more Moyes's style ,strong at the end of the season. being hopeful

Re: Are we too good to go down
No chance we will go down, squad is top 10 standard but need to attack teams like Everton and Forest rather than sitting back.

Re: Are we too good to go down
The only time ive taken a long hard look at us and knew we were goners 100% was under Grants Tenure.

We have good personnel but we need to tweak our system and get them involved. God help Moyes if he trots the same 11 out again against Wolves and loses. I just dont see how he can expect to keep his job.

Yea and you still won't put your money where your mouth is will you.

We will not go down, not even close, it's that fucking simple. Do I have my head stuck up my rear end? No, I just know what I'm talking about, unlike yourself.

Re: Are we too good to go down
Not a hope in hell of going down, poor season with late surge?
Yep
We are a good team, Everton was the only game I was really fucked off at losing because there was no excuse

VAR etc
